You will be guided and supported through the first part of your journey as a Self Employed Stylist.

Your need to register with HMRC as Self Employed/a Sole trader - this is a super easy process that doesn't take long at all, you'll then receive within 3 weeks your Unique Taxpayers Reference, or your UTR (for short!)

As a Self Employed Stylist, you'll need insurance for yourself that covers you while you're working and your kit! We can recommend the most cost-effective company to provide this.
